ABOUT US

Mr. Shahid who originally hails from Bangladesh comes from a family of planters. He is conscientious  and self motivated individual with great enthusiasm and determination to succeed. Hard working, reliable and resourceful with excellent organisational and staff management skills, has always been a specialist in vegetable cultivation having 25 years of experience. Being a specialist in this field, he has managed to cultivate and produce vegetables such as tomatoes, lemon, lady’s finger, baby cucumber, bitter gourd, Bangladesh snake gourd, pumpkin, betel leaf, betel nut and mainly Bangladesh broad beans (Kacang Kara) which are difficult to grow because of climate controls in certain countries.

Being based in Cameron Hihglands, Pahang Darul Makmur, it provides the best cultivation environment which allows vegetables especially Bangladesh broad beans (Kacang Kara) to grow. Having a leading edge against countries like India & Bangladesh, Zahid Al-Ahad is able to produce export quality broad beans (Kacang Kara) all year long. In turn countries which we are currently serviced by us such as the United Kingdom and European countries that have constant demand which we currently fulfill. We also has expanded the distribution of local fruits which is in demand in European countries. A total staff force of 45 individuals makes this process happen smoother.

Being a major contributor in promoting Malaysia in the field of agriculture, the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA), Ministry of International Trade & Industry (MITI) and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) have remarkably recognized our efforts, success and continuous growth.

The Ministries have always been supportive with in providing information pertaining to this cultivation and have always regarded Zahid Al-Ahad (M) Sdn,Bhd as a cultivator of specialised vegetable. We has been consistently supporting in organizing trade delegates from other countries and through Trade Show & Exhibitions.

Being financially strong, Zahid Al- Ahad (M) Sdn.Bhd was mooted to set up a Cold Storage & Packaging Center. The center is of International Standards and is situated in Bidor, Perak Darul Ridzuan. Our well-designed modern cold room warehouse with full facilities that can accommodate  up to six 40-footer container loads. Our cold room has been designed and partitioned into 5 rooms with centralized computer controlled temperature and humidity.
